Riding Instruction

In this program, students will learn some  of the basic fundamentals of horsemanship and equitation with expert,  one-on-one instruction under Miss Marka. The riding program is  structured to accommodate very beginner riders of all ages (adult  lessons are also available) all the way through the intermediate level,  and will enhance the development of muscle, balance, rhythm, and  confidence via the correct use of riding aids. Horseback (or equitation)  lessons are perfect for anyone who is crazy over horses or those who  are just ready for new and more challenging activities. Lessons begin as  private, one-on-one, 45- minute long sessions, and are certain to boost  athletic ability, confidence and equine knowledge. Semi-private lessons are available to more advanced riders. *Due to the smaller size of our horses, riders cannot weigh more than 170 lbs.  Classes will meet once a week for a minimum of four weeks. Availability for classes is on a first come first serve basis. Payment is due in full prior to the start of each session. The  goal of our lesson program is to facilitate effective communication  between horse and rider, turning out confident and balanced riders while  increasing equine knowledge and awareness.
